Join the Salesian Sisters for WYD 2027
“Take courage! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
The words of Jesus inspire the theme for World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea, calling young people everywhere to be witnesses of hope, drawing strength from the Risen Christ. Building on the Jubilee Year 2025 invitation to be pilgrims of hope, WYD 2027 unites hearts from every nation in a powerful celebration of faith, courage, and mission.
The Salesian Sisters invite you to join their WYD 2027 pilgrimage, a journey filled with joy, community, and spiritual discovery. Departing from California and Texas, our pilgrim groups will travel together on an unforgettable adventure of faith, walking alongside thousands of young Catholics from around the world, united in Christ.
WYD Seoul promises a unique experience where East meets West, faith meets culture, and young hearts encounter Christ in new and life-changing ways. Pilgrims will immerse themselves in Korea’s sacred history, visiting places like Chon Jin Am, the birthplace of Korean Catholicism, the Demilitarized Zone, where we pray for peace and reconciliation, and the Haemi International Sanctuary, where countless martyrs bore witness to their faith.
Inspired by the example of St. Andrew Kim Tae-gon and the Korean martyrs, this pilgrimage reminds us to live our faith boldly and joyfully. Together with the Salesian Sisters, you will experience prayer, fellowship, and the vibrant spirit of the universal Church on this remarkable journey to Seoul.
Come and join the Salesian Sisters on pilgrimage to WYD 2027.
Take courage, bring your hope, and be part of this global movement of young people living the Gospel with joy.
