Greetings Salesian Family!

Letter From Sr. Rosann Ruiz, FMA

Welcome to our first digital version of SALESIAN FAMILY CONNECTIONS! Family, friends, the youth and families we serve and all those who join us in prayer are exactly that, a FAMILY. With the spirituality of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello, we walk together with and for youth, united to the Father, redeemed by the Son and guided along life’s way through the light and power of the Holy Spirit. We’re happy that we can touch so many through this electronic avenue.

I begin by assuring everyone of our heartfelt remembrance of you and your intentions every day in our daily Masses. Don’t hesitate to send us your prayer requests so we can submerge them in the river of prayer and sacrifice that flows from the stream of never ending prayer from our “Power House of Prayer”, our Provincial House.

The Provincial House is headquarters for our Province, but it is also home for our Sisters who can no longer serve in the active mission field of youth. These Sisters offer their entire day, joining the pain of their frailty and sickness to the cross and offering it as a gift with the Eucharist for the intentions of loved ones, friends and those who team up with us in prayer. They offer countless mysteries of the Rosary, asking Mary to accompany those who ask for our prayers. There is not one experience of life, joyful or sorrowful, that a mystery of the Rosary doesn’t touch. With Mary, the Rosary lifts every supplication to God, joining them to the plan of salvation that Jesus has made possible for each of us.
