Each development of John Bosco’s work, from the original oratory to the schools and the missions, was for the purpose of “education.” At each stage, John applied his system of prevention and the oratory model in a manner appropriate to setting up a suitable educative environment. The Oratory Model is based on the experience of the Home, School, Church, and Playground. In everything, John Bosco sought to make these elements alive.
